Very often I’ll have a woman who attends my class who will ask for advice about what hairstyle would look good on her. I’ll spend a few minutes looking at her face shape, coloring, hair texture etc. and begin to give my thoughts. Only for her to put on her glasses . . . that changes everything, its start over time. If you wear glasses, your eyewear is a major contributor to the whole package. Your eye glasses need to be taken into account. Getting the eyewear right for your face shape and coloring is critical to looking your very best.

Which Eyeglass Frames Would Look Best on You? By Erinn Morgan For many of us, the most important aspect of choosing eyeglass frames is how they look on our face. You could try on every pair of eyeglasses in the store to find out how each one looks, but narrowing down your choices in advance can save you a lot of time and aggravation. To do so, you simply need to determine your face shape and coloring, and read about which eyeglass frame styles and colors would look best on you. Matching Eyeglass Frames to Face Shapes According to the Vision Council of America (VCA) Envision Yourself program, there are three keys to choosing the correct eyeglass frame for your face shape: The frame shape should contrast with the face shape. The frame size should be in scale with the face size. Eyewear should repeat your personal best feature Eyewear should repeat your personal best feature(such as a blue frame to match blue eyes). Also, while most faces are a combination of shapes and angles, there are seven basic face shapes: round, oval, oblong, base-down triangle, base-up triangle, diamond and square.
