Fact is, Locks of Love takes in MUCH more hair than it actually uses. Only a tiny fraction of donations get made into wigs for kids. And most donors do not realize that LOL was founded to help suffferers of a rare desease called Alopecia, NOT kids with cancer.

If you want to do some real good, donate money to a cancer research fund.
